Join Us For The 7th Annual Cypress Challenge: Saturday, August 16th

Come join us at the top of Cypress Mountain on Saturday, August 16th for the 7th Annual Glotman•Simpson Cypress Challenge, a Fundraiser for Pancreatic Cancer Research. The Buntain Team will be in full force serving hot Starbucks Coffee and gooey Grounds For Coffee cinnamon buns to all of the riders coming through the finish line.

On August 16, 2014, the 7th Annual Glotman•Simpson Cypress Challenge, in memory of Darren Latoski, and benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation, will harness the determination of hundreds of cyclists as they climb Cypress Mountain for pancreatic cancer research.

All ages and cycling abilities are welcome! Choose either a 5 km or 12 km route. Enter in any of a host of different categories, including male/female age groups and four-person Corporate Challenge teams. Prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers and category riders. The climb is a fun way for cyclists to challenge themselves to reach a personal best, while helping defeat a particularly dangerous form of cancer.

The fact is that pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers. Most patients do not survive the first year post-diagnosis. With few survivors to advocate and raise funds, your climb is crucial to help change the course of diagnosis, treatment and survivorship for patients in B.C. and beyond.
